What phone did you use for these pics? The quality is great!
iPhone 14 Pro Max. I’m decent with angles but don’t know much about editing. I’ve seen better!

Thanks! I think these are the best-looking trucks on the road.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I’m looking at both and can’t decide.

If you’re choosing between a lower-mile Gen 2 for around $55K and a new Gen 3 for $75K, it really depends on what matters to you. Gen 2 is solid, but for me, the tech, bigger screens, warranty, and updated body style were worth the extra cost. And, if you ever need to sell, the Gen 3 may hold its value better.
@Logan
Great advice, thank you! I’m mainly looking at certified pre-owned models for both. Prices are still high around here in SoCal, though.

Certified pre-owned is great, especially if you’re getting it with an extended warranty. If you’re open to it, buying out of state can save money. In Georgia, they’re going for invoice.
@Logan
Shipping’s not that expensive either—it’s worth the savings compared to West Coast prices.
@Logan
Invoice pricing? I’ve called around, and the best I’ve seen is a few grand off MSRP.

I think invoice is closer to $75K, but still, demand is easing up, so deals might get better as we get closer to 2025 models.
@Logan
Makes sense, especially with lower inventory on the West Coast. People are willing to pay a bit more for the exact spec they want.

My friend paid $70K over sticker for a 2023 R
@Logan
Which dealer are you with? We’ve bought from several in GA.

Focusing on monthly payments is your first mistake.

This is the only vehicle I have financed. I’d rather have a payment on the truck and keep cash for repairs on my other cars.
The Gen 3 may ride better, but in my opinion, it’s a downgrade in looks.

I agree. The 17-20 body style is hard to beat.

Totally agree. I’ve got both, and the Gen 2 is still my favorite.
Gen 2 looks so much better, in my opinion. But I do love the drive and interior of the Gen 3, so it might be worth the trade-off.

Gen 2 really does have that raw look—probably one of the best-looking trucks ever made.
