Absolutely. Saw one parked the other day, and it’s just a beast. The new Gen 3 looks a bit softer by comparison.

I’ve heard it called Gen 3.5, but most just stick with Gen 3 for the 2021+ models. Similar to how the 2018 Mustang facelift didn’t get a new generation name.
Gen 2 has the best grille.

Nope, they’re just slip-on covers. Had them on my old truck and swapped them over.
I’ll wait a few years for Gen 3 prices to drop before I make the jump. Nice truck, though!

You won’t regret the upgrade when the time comes, but the Gen 2 is still an awesome truck in the meantime!

I’ve got the same spec as your old 2019 and added an extended warranty. Hoping to upgrade when the price fits my budget.

Prices should come down soon. My girlfriend was supportive of the payment bump, but she also made it clear that mods will be off the table for a while!
The Gen 2 looks awesome! Gen 3’s design reminds me a bit of the Gen 1.

Appreciate it. I was lucky to have my dad’s paid-off Raptor, so I could add my own. It feels odd having two, but it keeps the miles low on both. By the way, does your steering wheel say Raptor on it?

Yep, but the 2024 models dropped the red stripe on the steering wheel. I’m thinking a little red tape might do the trick!

I might send my dad’s Gen 2 off for a full Baja build—intercooler, turbos, the works. The Gen 2 feels like the real deal to me. By the way, what tint did you use on the windshield?
I get that the Gen 3 has improvements, but for me, the Gen 2 does almost everything I need. I just can’t justify the price difference yet.

I’ve seen this opinion a lot, but I don’t get it. The Raptor’s special because of the suspension, and that’s been seriously upgraded. The Gen 3 is better in every way, other than subjective looks.
