Is anyone else annoyed that we have like 20 buttons on the steering wheel, but none of them end a call? Seems like a weird thing to leave out.
Yeah, I noticed that too. I’d rather have the controls for exhaust, suspension, and steering over a call button, though.

I feel the same. I’m more used to having those on the display, kind of like on Range Rovers or G-Wagons. Guess it’s because I’m used to a setup without many buttons. I’m actually getting a custom carbon wheel with shift lights and removing a few things myself.
Yeah, it kinda bothered me at first too. I think you can end calls by pressing ‘OK’ or one of the arrow keys. Not entirely sure; I’d have to check. I ended up just using CarPlay for most of it, and honestly, it’s a small quirk in a pretty awesome vehicle.
When you buy the off-road version, they focus on performance stuff. The luxury ones like Platinum have the call button, but the Raptor and similar models don’t. A lot of folks buy these for casual use and then get disappointed when they aren’t as feature-loaded for things like phone calls.
@Nuri
Honestly, I don’t even use cruise control or phone stuff. I just throw it in Sport mode and have fun driving.
@Nuri
If you’re curious about how I’m using this off-road, check my post history! Took it off-roading the second day I got it, and it was a blast.
So, how do you even answer a call?

There’s an answer button, actually.

What happens if you press the answer button again? Does it hang up?
@Fox
Nope, doesn’t do anything.

Which button is the answer one? Is it the little talking head icon? I thought that was Ford’s version of Siri.
@Rowan
You press the OK button to answer. The call info shows up in the cluster, then disappears.

My Platinum model has a hang-up button, and you can also end the call with the OK button on the console display. It’s weird.
@Lennox
Platinum models don’t have the ‘R’, suspension, or exhaust buttons, so there’s more space for other stuff.

Yeah, I get that, but I wish you could end calls right from the cluster screen.
@Lennox
Not sure why that’s not an option. The screen goes back to ‘My View’ after you answer, and the call info drops to the bottom. There’s no way to bring it back up. My Lightning works like yours, though it has a phone button anyway.
@Rowan
I usually press it and it answers. Haven’t used it in a while, but I think that’s how it works.
Sounds like a ‘first world problem’. But hey, at least you’ll be remembered as the person who never hangs up.
Biggest oversight by Ford if you ask me. Absolute madness.
