Believe it or not, there are companies that specialize in automotive glass repair. You can search online to find local professionals in your area.

Wow, really? That’s wild! Technology, man.
Just take it to a windshield repair company. I just bought a repair kit yesterday—if you were nearby, I’d fix it for you. It’s cheap and pretty simple to use.

I called a windshield repair place, but they said the repair product can’t be used on the moonroof because it’s a different type of glass and might shatter.
@Shaye
Yeah, I got the same warning when I checked into it. They’ll try, but they won’t be responsible if it shatters.
@Shaye
Doesn’t make sense to me. Both should be laminated glass.

Actually, the moonroof glass is like the side windows. They can shatter with a good hit from a rock, unlike the windshield.
@Flann
I think you’re mistaken. Roof glass should be laminated like a windshield. If it weren’t laminated, it would already be in pieces after a hit like that. Laminated glass has been used for sunroofs since the 1980s for safety reasons.
@Flann
Had this happen with my old F250 side window, but on my newer truck, it’s laminated. Surprised me too, but I think more newer trucks are doing this.
One of the reasons I’m glad I got my Raptor without a moonroof—still got the tailgate package, though! Good luck with the repair. Hopefully, you don’t need a full replacement.
Why’s everyone so worked up over this? The guy just wants advice, not a debate. Let’s be real—everyone would rather get advice from a person than a bot.
Just grab a DIY kit and fix it yourself.
Did some research—it does look like it’s laminated glass, so it should be repairable. I’ll try a DIY fix and post some before-and-after pics.

Haha, classic!
Cover it with a piece of scotch tape ASAP to prevent it from spreading.
Maybe you could find a wrecked Raptor with an intact moonroof to swap out.
Might be just one hot day away from cracking more. Tempered glass can be tricky, but I could be wrong.
Looks like a DIY kit might do the trick. Be careful with the suction cups, though—don’t press too hard, or it could make the crack worse.
