Jack from SavageGeese reviewed the Ranger Raptor, and it looks like a winner. Any owners here with real-world opinions? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkIdF2As7OE
For me, a used F-150 Raptor makes more sense. But yeah, Ford doesn’t build used F-150s.

The whole point of the Ranger Raptor is that it’s smaller and more nimble for off-roading. A used F-150 misses the mark completely.
seems to make more sense for me personally
No one is arguing what makes sense for you specifically.
@Zeke
Wait, what suggestion did I make?

No worries. Btw, is there a story behind your username?
@Hartley
Yeah, it’s from this classic video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFUSOgIjbgg

You literally said a used F-150 makes more sense. That’s kind of the opposite of what the Ranger Raptor is for.

It’s what works best for me, though.

Ford actually did something like that during the chip shortage. They built trucks, let them sit for a year, then added chips and sold them as new.
@Yan
Those weren’t used. They were just delayed stock.

Technically true, but they felt like used vehicles by the time they hit the lot.

Still, they were never titled or driven, so they’re considered new by legal standards.
@Fisher
Fair point. Just wanted to clarify my earlier comment for laughs.

The Ranger is way more capable than an F-150… except in Baja scenarios.

Not when it comes to family stuff. Off-road? Sure.
@Hartley
Sounds like you need a minivan instead.
