I have a 2019 raptor, just got the cam phaser issue fixed, now a week later there’s a thin white smoke that comes out of my exhaust and not because of the weather. It smells burnt also and more smoke seems to come out with the more I accelerate. Has anyone had this issue? I hope it’s nothing too crazy, but also already emotionally ready for the disappointment lol
I have a 2020 Raptor and recently had the same issue. The white smoke had a sweet, burnt smell and always came from the passenger side tailpipe. I was worried it could be a blown head gasket or turbo problem. Since it’s under warranty, I took it in. They had trouble replicating the issue at first, but eventually they did. They checked the turbo and found no issues, and it turned out to be a faulty PCV valve. I’ve had it back for a couple of weeks now, and no more smoke. Hope your issue turns out to be the same!
A lot of white smoke usually points to turbo issues, I believe.
