Trim tool experience/recommendations please

I will be removing a fender flare on my 23 to repair wiring connector damage on my front marker light.

Is there a tool anyone has found to make the little Xmas trees a simple thing? There’s so many shapes and styles available I really am not sure which would be the “best”.

I’m just looking for tips/tricks prior to popping the flares off for the first time. YT was sort of a bust as most vids are filmed one handed and they cut the two handed parts out of the video, if there’s a good video of it I’d be grateful for that too.

Honestly, Harbor Freight sells a set of around seven different tools for just a few bucks, and since they aren’t life-or-death tools, they work just fine. I’ve used them multiple times without any issues, so I’d recommend stopping by and picking up a pack.

Solid. No idea why I didn’t think of good ol HF.

I have an inexpensive tool set from Amazon that’s worked great for me. Just grab one of those—they’re simply plastic pry bars.

I bought the large 20-piece tool set from Amazon. They’re all pretty similar—just choose one with a good variety.

Once the screws are removed, you can usually pop the flares out by hand.

This is a great kit I’ve used on my Raptor also
