Thinking of purchasing a 2021 and up raptor (non-R)

Hey guys, im new to the world of trucks and the f150 raptor catch my eye better than others trucks out there.

I do acknowledge this pick up trucks are not cheap at all and the minimum is $60k even with some 50k miles over.

Just trying to see what usually the average person pays a month with a good average credit score. (I know its very individual price things) but I would like to hear everyone’s perspective with the payments and maintenance.

I wonder how many times the original poster has called into the Dave Ramsey show with the same question.

I’ve owned a 2020 model since 2020 and have had a fantastic experience. I’ve done oil changes, replaced tires, and had the differential and taillight fixed under warranty. They’re a lot of fun to drive, and the insurance is the second cheapest in my household—only slightly more than my Subarus and less than my BMW and Yukon XL.

Find a model you like, and only you can determine if it fits your budget; comparing yourself to others doesn’t matter. That said, the 3rd gens are awesome. They’re big vehicles that don’t fit in many garages, so they’re not for everyone. Mine has been completely trouble-free.
