Which one do you think looks better at night?
Had both, but I still have my Coyote Plat.
Middle ground: Tremor.
I’d take a Tremor over either.
Agreed, and I did. Bought mine in 2022.
I like the Tremor a lot, but not enough to trade my ‘21 Lariat.
I was in the market for a new truck, so it was a no-brainer. I had a 2018 XLT SuperCab 4x4, but now that I’m married and planning for kids, we needed a SuperCrew. I went with one that has some real ‘oomph.’
CLU vs TRON.
Platinum. My wife had a red and then a blue Raptor, and while they were fun, I prefer my black 502A Lariat. It’s more comfortable and sleek. Small part of me wishes I’d gotten a Limited, but I’m eyeing those retro builds for my next ride. New tech with old-school vibes.
Platinum. I’m kind of over the ‘lit up like a Kenworth’ Raptor and Tremor trucks. Too much going on.
I think the white lighting looks better than the yellow.
I like the yellow—it gives it a darker, meaner look.
Raptor 100%. I’ve driven a lot of trucks, and nothing compares to my Raptors.
But how many Platinums have you had? Sounds like a biased opinion.
When my ‘17 Raptor was in the shop (blew the front diff), my loaner was a 2019 Platinum. I put 6K miles on it, and while it was nice, it didn’t match up to a Raptor. My ‘23 Raptor is an even better ride. What can a Platinum do that a Raptor can’t, aside from massage seats?
Tow more, have a higher payload, and get better fuel economy.
I don’t tow much, and I care more about off-road capability than payload or MPG. It depends on what you need a truck for.
Surprised to see so many folks picking the Platinum. I love the Raptor look, but I’m a Platinum owner, lol.
Went from a ‘17 Avalanche Raptor (amazing truck) to a ‘21 Kodiak Brown Platinum PowerBoost. No regrets!
The Platinum is so comfortable.
