Looking at a 10+ year old truck—curious if it’s worth it. What do you all think?
Not sure about this one, but at the dealership I work at, we’ve got a 2012 with 162K miles for the same price. It’s been sitting for months with almost no interest. That’s a lot to pay for a truck that’s over 10 years old.
For the age and mileage, it should be closer to $20K.
I’d pass and go for a ’13 or ’14. They’re usually around the same price or just a couple thousand more, but you get a better deal overall.
Definitely go take a look at it. Can’t tell if that’s Line-X or someone hit the fenders with a spray can. The mileage is low for the year, which is good, but having owned both a 2012 and a 2014 Raptor, I’d aim for a ’13 or ’14 if you can stretch your budget. Worth it.
I bought my 2012 with 156K miles for $25K. It was worth it because there was zero rust and the suspension was in great shape. I think 2012 was the first year they updated the infotainment and added the full screen. I also prefer the hard buttons for the heated/vented seats over the touchscreen setup in the ’13s. Personal preference, but make sure you check the Carfax to confirm it was well taken care of.
I picked up mine with fewer miles, single owner, and $2,000 cheaper.
At least with a 2011, you’re safe from the 5.4L Triton.

The 2014s also come with vented seats, if that matters to you.
