Has anyone ceramic coated or ppf their raptor?

Thinking about getting my 2019 done,Worth it?

I just got a quote for $2500 to do a PPF on just the front end of my 2024. At that price, I’m pretty sure I could repaint the entire front end. I’m just going to do the headlights and leave it at that.

Since it’s not brand new and has probably already seen some wear, I’d go with ceramic coating. As long as you maintain it properly, it’ll keep your paint looking nice and shiny.

I ceramic coated my 2019 twice—once when it was brand new, and then a few months ago since the initial ceramic protection had worn off.

I like to keep my vehicles clean, so for me, it’s worth it, but I do all the work myself, including upkeep. It’s pretty time-consuming, which is why prices are usually high—most of it goes toward paint correction if you want it done right.

It really comes down to whether it’s worth it to you. PPF is a lot more expensive but offers significantly more protection.

I bought a used Raptor with 70k miles on it and I want to keep it looking nice, so I’m considering paint correction and protection, but it’s pricey—$1300-$1600 for ceramic coating. The neighbor’s cat has jumped on my truck a few times, which worries me! I know PPF would offer much better protection, but I only have the budget for the ceramic coating right now, and I’m not sure it’s worth adding PPF for a 2019 with 70k miles.

If you’re able to upkeep I’d say go for it. If you’re gonna take it through brush car washes you’d just be wasting your money

Yeah I wash my own truck in My driveway… with a soft bristle pole , I also have a hand mitt.
