It looks like a beast of a vehicle too! It also looks like a Jeep Wrangler with IFS instead of solid axles. But…hey…each to their own. I don’t see the Jeep guys jumping ship for this but it’s definitely a tempting option for someone like me that has a need for IFS just for comforts sake. (Disabled spouse with pain management issues.) This is one I will keep an eye on as I have always been a fan of the Wrangler for it’s top removal and door removal options.
It’s a horse-bird!
It’s going to get a lot of Arizona pinstripes because of its width.
I don’t see myself getting it since it’s likely very pricey. However, I plan to compare the base model Bronco with the base model Wrangler when the time comes to replace my JK.
I thought the whole point of getting a Raptor was to jump it!
I can’t wait to see them lined up at Starbucks!
Are a lot of people really going to spend $70k on this, which is more than once the median pre-tax household income, just to drive it through Mexico or get it dented in Moab? It’s a cool vehicle, but with how expensive many factory options are today, most buyers probably won’t use it as intended. Perhaps in the used market, but even a 12-year-old Raptor still goes for around $30k, with uncertain remaining lifespan.
“Hey everyone, we’re aware that there are several reliability issues and engine failures in our Bronco line. So instead of addressing those problems, here’s a Bronco Raptor!”
Comes standard with a leaking MIC top and the intake valve pre-dropped into the cylinder head on these, no more waiting 5k miles for the fun to start!
