Finally joined the Raptor crew... anyone else love the new 2024 F-150?

I finally made the jump to the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor… goodbye old truck on the left, hello Raptor! Zero regrets!

Old truck is the same year?! That’s wild

Either of those trucks is a win. Welcome to the Raptor world! Beautiful truck. I approve all the way from Raptor Land North of 60 in Whitehorse Yukon, Canada. Winter has arrived here!!!

Thank you! Aww yeah, hello from northern Alberta! :wave:t3: not looking forward to those -50s this year though…

That’s a badass picture.

Thanks a lot!

Picking up a Raptor in fresh snow is pretty sweet.

I always wonder what Lariat owners are thinking when I drive by in my Raptor… guess I know now  Congrats and welcome to the club!

Hahahaha! Honestly, the looks I get while driving the Raptor in traffic are incredible! I also see every F-150 owner slowing down and checking it out… they have no idea I can see them through my full ceramic tint I just had done :joy:

Thanks!

Congrats! You picked it up on a perfect day! Does it snow often where you live?

Thanks! Yes, we just got our first snowfall this past weekend! It snows like clockwork here from November until late April, sometimes even into May. Last year we saw temps as low as -48°C (-54°F) in January/February… pretty brutal for sure!

I work up in the oil fields as a Wildland firefighter supervisor so the winters are tough up here.

Right on, good luck with it!

Beautiful truck! Can’t imagine the hit on value for that decision, but I support it! Lol

Surprisingly, it wasn’t as bad as I expected! The loss is manageable, and oil field money will help me make up for it before the year ends lol.

Congrats! How long did you own the Lariat and what made you switch to the Raptor?

Thanks! I had the Lariat since August 2024, so about 3 months. There were a few reasons for switching. First, truck prices are going to rise in Canada starting in January, so it made sense to get in now. Also, the 2025 Raptors are removing features like the door keypad buttons, and those will be dealer-installed for around $450… ridiculous. But honestly, I’ve always wanted a Raptor, just like so many others! When the numbers lined up, I went for it!

Are those 35s or 37s on the Raptor?

That poor underbody :sob:
