Finally bought my first truck… big change from a Mustang!

After driving a Mustang for the last 8 years, I finally made the switch to something more practical. Winters and changing needs pushed me to take the leap, and honestly, this is the best purchase I’ve ever made.

Congrats, man! I’ve had a Mustang for the past 6 years too, but I’m thinking of selling it for a Raptor next year. How does the driving compare?

The difference is night and day. I kept my Mustang for now, but I’ve been driving the truck daily, and I love it:

  1. I can finally fit more than one passenger. Tons of space inside for everyone.
  2. It’s a truck, so you’ll notice more body roll on turns, and it’s bigger when parking. But honestly, it’s been fine so far.
  3. I’m still breaking it in, but you can feel the power. It’s heavy but still quick—makes you feel like the king of the road.
  4. WAY more comfortable. Mustang was fun, but its stiff suspension made me feel every pothole. The Raptor eats up these rough Northeast roads.

No regrets at all. I’m in love with this truck, and I turn around to stare at it more than I ever did with the Mustang. :joy:

Thanks! One dealer tried to get me to order a 2025, but I had to have Avalanche.
