Truck won't start… anyone else having this issue?

Gremlins start messing with your truck when the battery’s going bad! :metal:

You need a new battery. I had the same issue last year when my factory battery died. I replaced it, and everything worked fine. I also got a load tester and a jump pack just in case it happens again. Cables are good, but you still need someone else to help jump.

@Phoenix
I already tried swapping batteries with my wife’s car, and it’s still doing the same thing.

Sounds like it’s gonna cost you some money. Gotta love old Fords. Might as well get the phasers done too.

How long was the truck sitting before this happened?

It wasn’t sitting for too long. I drove it in the morning, everything was fine. Then six hours later, I tried to start it up again, and that’s when I got all the fault codes.

Have you checked fuse 27?

I relocated fuse 27 to fuse 70 already, and it’s not the fuel pump. I replaced that last year.

I left another comment with some more ideas. Check that too.

Could also be the ignition key isn’t sitting right. I had to replace mine because it wasn’t tight, and it would shut off when I hit a bump.

Okay, we’ve got a lot of wrong answers here. A dashed odometer means there’s a CAN bus issue between the PCM and the instrument cluster, which is why the antitheft system isn’t disarming. You’ve got a module communication problem, probably the PCM isn’t talking. Could be a short, bad module, water damage, rodents… could be anything. You’ll need some serious diagnostics.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

LOL, classic IT advice.
