Traxxas Ford Raptor worth it? Looking for opinions

If you want a good entry-level 2WD truck, check out the HPI Jumpshot SC or Team Associated Pro SC. They’re cheaper and handle better than the Slash.

It’s essentially a Slash, and you can’t go wrong with it. I had a Slash 4x4 LCG that I abused for years, and it held up well. Definitely a solid choice.

I bought mine a year ago and haven’t looked back. Unlike others, I’ve kept it completely stock, and it’s been a blast. Highly recommend it.

Slashes are great, but I’d recommend going brushless. The Raptor body is cool, but you might want to save it for when you’re more experienced, as the body will likely take some damage while you’re learning.
