Thinking about getting this 2020 Raptor… Is it a good deal?

I found what I think is a pretty solid deal on a 2020 Ford Raptor at my local dealership. Would love some opinions.

2020 red Ford Raptor with 28,000 miles, clean Carfax, listed at $55,999. I plan to put $2,000 down.

Tell me this is a great deal so I can convince my wife! (Just kidding… sort of.)

It’s awesome that it comes with the Blue Advantage warranty (3 months/4k miles). I got an ‘18 Raptor 802a with 90k miles for $38k from my local Ford dealer. Shortly after buying it, I found an oil leak, plus a cold start rattle and growling noise while driving. Ford fixed the cam phasers, oil pan, gaskets, and wheel bearing under the Blue Advantage warranty. I also got an extended warranty for peace of mind.

Not a bad deal, but make sure to check the cam phasers or have someone inspect them.

Funny enough, I tried to trade my truck for this exact one, but they lowballed me hard on my trade. Good luck, though!

Don’t they always? Lol

What were you trying to trade?

I’ve got a ‘21 TRX with every option, less than 5k miles, in perfect condition. They offered me $60k for it… total joke. Thinking about trading it to free up cash to buy some property.

@Lior
Try selling it to CarMax. They usually offer better prices than dealers, especially for low-mileage vehicles.

I’ve considered it, but my one experience with them wasn’t great. I might just list it on Autotrader with an aggressive price instead.

I was wondering the same thing.

It’s from a site my brother and I made called Visor.vin. It helps break down the car market and gives additional insights for negotiating with dealers. Still a work in progress, but we use it for our own shopping.

@Finnick
That’s pretty cool!

Is this one of the best deals out there?

Wow, that’s a solid deal. Super clean truck too.

Nice! I’m from the area too, and most Raptors around here are overpriced. Port Arthur usually has decent deals, though.

I love them in red! When I got mine, I was torn between red and avalanche. Went with avalanche and glad I did—there are three red ones in my small town, but no avalanche ones.

I love avalanche too, but it’s mostly lead foot or black in my area.
