Hello everyone, I am about to buy 2024 801 package soon and wonder

- I am buying the vehicle under my s corp and wonder if the truck is good for full deduction for 2024

The Raptor is not included in the list of vehicles weighing over 6,000 pounds.
Additionally, the vehicle must be put into service between January 1 and December 31 of the same tax year.
In short: No. Please consult your CPA or tax advisor for further guidance.
Thanks for your reply. Does it have to be on some sort of list? Because Raptor is well over 6000lbs. I know for sure as long as i buy the truck before the end of 2024, it should be fine as far as tax year qualification goes. I spoke to 2 different CPAs and one said i am good and the other one said i am only qualified for 60%
I would think it wise to trust a qualified accountant more than Reddit on this issue.
Paying MSRP or slightly below is realistic, depending on your location. However, getting it at invoice price is unlikely, as there are usually buyers willing to pay MSRP or only a few thousand less. Dealerships don’t keep Raptors in stock long enough to sell them at invoice pricing.
I just got a 2024 801 at invoice price. I think finding one at invoice is definitely possible, but it largely depends on your location—I’m in the Midwest. Additionally, I plan to take advantage of Section 179.
Mind dm for dealer info? I can have them ship i believe
