Picked up my first Gen 2 last month, and I’ve already put 3K miles on it. I absolutely love it—looks great, drives amazing, and I can’t stop looking back at it when I park. Only thing is the transmission can be rough sometimes between 3rd and 5th gear.

You might need a TCM KAM reset so it can relearn your driving habits.

Winfield over at Goosetune is awesome. I mainly did it for the transmission tune, not the power. The shifting is night and day. We’re still fine-tuning it, but so far, I’m really happy.

I got lucky while window shopping at the dealer last week. An older couple traded this 2019 in for a 2024, and I signed the papers the next day. The Gen 2 body style has always been my favorite—I even had a 2016 XLT before.
It’s super clean, has 59K miles, and came with brand new Mickey Thompson tires. Rides great and still feels new to me. I haven’t checked the cam phasers yet, but I know I can get the warranty history from Ford. I also added a 5-year/60K extended warranty for peace of mind.

I’ve had my Gen 2 for two years now, and I still smile every time I hop in.
Edit: Mine’s a 2018 with Goosetune, 124K miles.
