Low engine oil pressure

My 2019 raptor just got new cam phasers a month ago, was running fine then I got the “ low engine oil pressure alarm “ was able to be make it home being an hour way… oil pressure gauge showed 35 psi the whole way and low oil, which it has oil they did an oil change with the cam phaser job and I checked the lvl and it’s good, but it has a sound like if something is loose kinda of a knocking sound but not really. What could it be?

You drove it with the low oil pressure light on? I hope it was just a faulty signal.

It sounds like you should take it back to the mechanic.

Bro, you should always shut the truck down and avoid running it until you’re 1000% sure the oil system is working properly (usually means getting it towed to a shop). Hopefully, you won’t need an engine overhaul now.

I have a 2019 too. Right after I had my phasers done, my truck burned through 2.5 quarts of oil and would go into limp mode until I turned it off and restarted it. Turns out it was the valve covers. Thankfully, Ford covered it since I had three weeks left on the powertrain warranty.

Hopefully I’ll see what happens, ford basically didn’t do anything
