I’ve got a silver Gen1 as well. Did you do all the upgrades yourself?

This isn’t my truck. My shop did a lot of the work, but not everything.

Did you do the fender flares and suspension upgrades?

How’s that old beast running?

Just hit 82k miles. Still running great!

Love to hear it!

You should check out pics of pre-runner or trophy truck setups for inspiration. Most teams run Starlink gear now.

If it were my truck, I’d mount it near a headache rack between the cab and the spares. Keep it low enough to not add height but still clear the roofline. For race trucks, I’ve seen setups between the hood and dash, but that might not work with a full roof. Let us know what you decide!

@Tait
Oh, nice! You’ve got plenty of space in the back for mounting options.

@Tait
Damn, that looks awesome!

Thanks a lot!

What’s the black hose running around the bed and exiting near the taillights?

@Tait
That’s what I thought it was.

I thought they were selling the mobile version of Starlink?

I’m not sure about that.

That’s a wide setup. Gen1 is already 8 inches wider than a regular F-150.

And this one’s 4 inches wider than the basic Raptor. :joy:

I’ve seen people just use a suction cup to mount it to the inside of the window.

Here are a couple of options I’ve found:

I built a mount using parts from Home Depot to keep it flush under a bed cover. It’s worked well so far.
