Finally joined the Raptor club!

Seeking Advice

After 10 amazing years with my Mustang GT, I finally had to face the fact that it just wasn’t practical for me anymore. My original plan was to get a mid-tier truck for daily driving and keep the Mustang as my fun weekend car. But plans changed, and, well… I ended up trading the Mustang for a stunning 2024 F-150 Raptor.

I’m still in shock—it hasn’t fully sunk in yet. Owning a Raptor has always been a dream, but I honestly didn’t think it would ever happen. I’m beyond excited! Wooooo! Bonus pic of my Mustang at the dealership—saying goodbye was bittersweet, but I think I’ve already found my new pride and joy. :rocket:

Nitto Ridge Grapplers are top-tier truck tires. Why not keep them?

I’ve had bad experiences with them. Terrible tires for Montana roads.

What do you think they’re worth? I like the way they look, but I plan on hitting the trails soon. The previous owner put these on.

Not sure, but check online for tire and wheel prices, then take off 20-30% or offer a trade. Someone out there will definitely be interested.

Haha, yeah, I need some practice. That was in the empty back corner of my work lot. I promise I won’t park like that where it actually matters! Those were my first two tries with the truck.

Thanks! I’ve always been into black cars, but this one really caught my eye. I love how the lighting changes the way it looks.

Thanks! I’ll definitely do some mods down the road, but for now, I’m just enjoying it as it is.

It’s tough thinking about parting with my built Subaru, but I do love my Raptor.

I hear you. I put a lot into my Mustang and had it for years with so many good memories. But man, the Raptor is so great I can’t even feel bad about it.

I’ve got a GT, too, and I’m planning to get a Raptor next year. Hoping to keep both if I can manage it!
