Do I tune this beast?

Okay. Hear me out. Do I get the stage 1 tune from Goose, keep it conservative and enjoy the truck with a little more umph…. Or keep it stock?

‘20 802a package 33,500mi. Mostly a mall crawler, does see some beach time.

I like how it runs now, but disabling auto-stop, the TCM, and just some more POWER is appealing.

Mine’s on 37s with a stage one Goosetune and exhaust, and I love it. My dad’s is stock with 35s, and it feels slow and heavy in comparison!:sweat_smile:

I tuned it with a Stage 1 Goosetune, and it was definitely 100% worth it. I also have a 2020!

I just bought a Cobb Accessport and ECU/TCM tune from GooseTuned. Haven’t had a chance to data log yet, but I can already feel a noticeable difference in how the truck puts power down and how the transmission shifts. GooseTuned recommends getting the Ford Performance one-step colder plugs, which should be arriving today. Once I get those installed, I’ll be able to send off some logs to him. I’m in a similar situation—I’ve got a 2020 802a with 38k miles, and I wanted to add some extra pep and see if the TCM tune lived up to the hype (spoiler: it does).

I believe you can disable auto-stop and TCM with FORScan if those are your main priorities. It’s a good way to adjust things without needing a full tune, especially if you’re just looking to fine-tune those features.

Does the Goose tune deliver the power they mention on their website? 600 WHP seems unbelievable if it’s accurate.

Go for it! I’ve been Stage 2 tuned since 10k miles, and now I’m at 45k. I love how the truck runs and shifts. It feels lighter on its feet and isn’t as bogged down with the updated TCM.
