I’m planning to move to France in 2025. Has anyone tried taking a big truck like a 2022 F150 Raptor over there? Is it going to be a nightmare? Any advice would help.
That thing won’t fit anywhere except major highways.
Sell it here and get a Ranger Raptor when you get there. I’ve seen them around Europe, and they seem fine in cities. I drove in Lyon once, and a full-size truck would’ve been awful there.

The Ranger and F150 Raptor are both 80 inches wide, so I don’t think it matters.
@Kerr
Nope, F150 Raptor is over 7 inches wider.

Oops, typo! I guess I can’t type today.
I don’t think that’s correct.
Think about it. The Ranger is a smaller truck. The F150 is full-size. Of course, the F150 is bigger. Do you drive a Ranger or something?
I don’t think that’s correct.
Actually, the F150 is 87 inches wide without mirrors.

Yeah, I mixed up my numbers. My bad.

If you’re correcting yourself, just delete the comment. Don’t leave it up.

I trust Ford’s official site:
Gas in Europe is crazy expensive—around $7.50 a gallon in France. Roads are tight, and I can’t imagine squeezing something like a Raptor through them. People do it, but they’re probably insane.
Honestly, I wouldn’t bother bringing it.
Farmers in France are out protesting with their massive tractors. So hey, maybe you can drive it on the smaller roads after all.
Bro, just get a Mini Cooper if you’re planning to go through those narrow streets.
Driving through towns will be tough. But parking? That’s going to be even worse.
Driving an F150 Raptor in Europe sounds like a headache.
Why even try? Get a smaller car.
