I just bought two brand new 2024 Ford Raptors, and one of them has a noticeable vibration when it’s idling. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of issue?
It’s only got 2200 miles on it, so I didn’t expect anything like this already.

It’s under warranty, right? Just let the dealer handle it.

The dealer looked at me like I was making it up.

Tell them to run a full diagnostic on it. You just bought two new Raptors—they should be taking this seriously! Sometimes these trucks don’t throw codes unless there’s a major issue, but with the right tools, they should be able to figure it out.
@Charlie
Thanks for the tip!

My 2021 had a similar issue at idle where it had this pulsing vibration. Dealer pretended they didn’t notice it, even when I pointed it out sitting right there with them.
Could be a lot of things. I had a 2022 Audi Q7 that would shake like crazy at startup and idle. Turned out it was a fuel issue—replaced fuel pump, lines, and sensors under warranty.

Did you get any error messages with that?
@Noe
Nope, no warnings or error messages at all.
I get a slight shake sometimes too, no codes though. Wonder if it could be a similar problem.

Yeah, same here—no codes popping up at all.
@Noe
No error messages on mine either, but the shaking happens every time it’s idling.
I heard cam phasers can cause vibrations like that. Did you change to any aftermarket parts? Just kidding—take it back to Ford and have them look at it.
My 2022 shakes at idle too.

Good to know I’m not alone.
Ask the dealer to run a throttle body adaptation. Could also be a MAF sensor, vacuum leak, or fueling issue.
Good luck with the dealer. I had a 2023 F-150 before my Raptor, and it had a similar idle shake. Both dealerships near me kept saying it was ‘normal.’ I eventually traded it in at 12k miles because it drove me nuts.
My 2023 shakes at idle too. Dealer says it’s normal, but my 2022 Lariat with the 3.5 EB didn’t have this issue.
Are those wheels real beadlocks? Aren’t those hard to balance?
