$72k… fair price for a ‘21 Raptor with 17k miles?

Nah, that’s too high.

For about $3k more, you could get a new 2024. The used Raptor market hasn’t quite adjusted yet. I’d either buy new or wait a bit for prices to settle.

Plus, with a new one, you’ll get a full warranty and know it hasn’t been beaten up by someone else.

Now you get to be the one putting those 17k miles on it.

I paid $72k for a ‘22 with 12k miles last year, so no, doesn’t seem worth it.

Man, how are people throwing $72k at a used truck?

Bought a new ‘24 Benz GLE 450 for around that price. Seems crazy.

The tent and rack setup is a bit much.

I’d take a Raptor over the GLE450 any day.

@Chandler
I’m lucky enough to own both. The Mercedes is a great daily driver, basically just an appliance, but my old V8 Raptor… it’s my favorite by far.

Solid setup :+1:

Gotta do something with extra cash, right?

Sales.

Most people can’t really afford it. They just go into heavy debt to look cool like a lot of Americans.

That’s a wild assumption. Sure, some people go into bad debt, but plenty don’t. Why are you trolling the Raptor forum? :rofl:

@Angel
Because most actually do. You know that’s true.

Show me proof that Raptor owners go into debt just to look cool.

No way, especially with all that stuff in the bed… I’d pay around $65k max. Those tires look like they’ve worn unevenly too. Plus, the warranty is nearly up.

If you’re not using the truck bed, why not get an SUV? Easier to keep things safe from theft. Just my opinion.

It’s funny seeing heavy-duty trucks with bike racks. If an F-250 can’t carry a bike, what’s the point?

@Thayer
A big truck with a 5.5 ft bed is funny in itself. That rack doesn’t limit much; the short bed already does that.

Beyond looking a bit over-the-top, that setup is just… odd.
