Considering buying one if the price is right. At $45-$47k, I’m in. Wanted to see what everyone else thinks.
Seriously considering it depending on the price. At $45-$47k, I’d buy one. Anyone else thinking about it?

It’s probably going to be over $50k. I don’t hate it, but I wouldn’t buy one.
@Poe
I grew up loving the F150 Raptor, always told myself I’d get one someday. I’m not there yet financially, but this feels like the next best thing. Plus, it looks like a blast for off-roading, and I’ve got plenty of spots for that. I’m also debating this or the new Mustang.
@Wilder
Same here, man. I’ve wanted a Raptor forever but settled on a 2016 F-150 XLT instead. No regrets though! Someday I’ll get the Raptor, but not until I’m making six figures. Between the Ranger Raptor and Mustang, go with what makes you happiest.
@Poe
When we both get one, we’ll have to share pictures! I used to own a Mustang, which is why I’m leaning towards the GT. But going back to a two-door for daily use is tricky. If the Raptor comes in at $45k, I’ll 100% buy it. Can’t wait to go off-road and have fun.
@Wilder
The current Ranger Rattler is already over $45k. The Raptor will easily hit $55k or more.
@Wilder
I’m looking at getting a Gen 1 soon. They’re hitting the same stage the Lightning was a few years back—old enough for issues but not expensive enough for the collector tax.

Congrats, that’s awesome!

I doubt it’ll be $45-$50k. A Ranger Lariat with the Tremor package is already $48k MSRP, so this will be higher.
@Chandler
I got my 2018 Raptor in 2020 with two years of use for around that price.

Add a $60k dealer markup, and it’s going to be out of reach for most people.
@Bali
Luckily, I’ve got a dealer willing to sell at MSRP. I’m also eligible for X Plan, but I don’t know the MSRP yet.

The Bronco Raptor starts at $73k and is based on the Ranger platform. Expect the Ranger Raptor to be $65k minimum.

What do normal Rangers and Raptors cost?

Base Ranger starts at $26,400.
@Wilder
In Slovenia, it starts at €83k. Big difference.

I’m willing to pay $60k max. Hope it’s not more than that.
Ford is going for tiered trucks: Maverick, Ranger, F150, 250 for size, and then Rattler, Tremor, Raptor for off-road options. Rattler is cool but feels too focused on image.
It’s going to compete with the TRD Pro, AT4X, and ZR2. Those are $47-$51k, so if it’s priced there, it’ll sell.
