19 year old gets a brand new F150 Raptor and ruins it after jumping it... parents spend thousands fixing it twice... what’s next?

A 19-year-old kid was gifted a brand new F150 Raptor by his parents. First, he wrecked it after a massive jump, costing $5,000 to repair. Now, with 13k on the truck, he ripped the back of the engine block off after another jump and flooring the throttle. More photos in the comments.

Glad I had to pay for my own car and ATV. It taught me to be responsible… if I messed them up, it was on me to fix them. Parents who hand over expensive cars to kids aren’t doing them any favors.

@Ty
Maybe they thought the kid would grow into it? Doesn’t seem like that’s happening.

My parents gave me a used car when I was 16, but they made it clear: I had to pay for repairs and upkeep. I think it made me more careful.

@Skyler
Same here! I had an old Blazer, and I treated it like gold. No crazy stunts, no speeding, and it lasted a long time.

@Zen
This is why some people shouldn’t have too much money. Buy your kid a beater and let them learn responsibility.

Exactly. A $500 clunker would teach more than this Raptor ever will.

Raptors are cool, but they’re not really built for big jumps. They’re more for light off-road use, and this guy obviously didn’t get that memo.

Right? People see the ads and think, ‘Oh, let’s treat it like a trophy truck!’ Then they wonder why the frame bends.

How’s the frame holding up? Bet it’s bent to hell after all that abuse.

You guessed it… the frame’s warped, and the bed doesn’t even line up with the cab anymore.

I’m calling it now—when this thing falls apart, the kid will probably complain online that Ford makes junk.

How much force does it even take to rip an engine block? And how is this kid not hurt?

Drunk people and reckless teens seem to be immune to consequences.

Why are Raptors always breaking after jumps? And who the heck buys one for a teenager?

This family has money from a casino. For them, $70,000 is like pocket change. The kid doesn’t respect anything.

The kid’s an idiot, but honestly, I’m more disappointed in the Raptor. For all the hype, it doesn’t seem that tough.
